with reference to a song i’m listening to. but looking at the state of my keypads, the meaning is kinda literal too

went to sph news centre to present the chinese presentation. i reached there pretty early, after jun han, followed by mr wu, cheeying, jiayi, and finally mao jia and yu han. to say the truth, i was pretty touched by how mr wu actually bothered to come all the way to support us and listen to us last minute even when all of us three groups refused to have him in the room with us during the presentation. hahah he kept laughing at himself for buying chinese newspapers when he was going to the lian he zao bao hq(: hahah and to give him credit, he never once laughed at the way i spoke chinese-.- throughout the whole week, we were rehearsing with him, and i felt that finally today, i manage to get my words right and smooth bef going in..! yet in the actual room, i guess i felt too nervous and wasn’t as expressive as i ought to be heh hope it goes well then! results are pretty soon =\ and i’m very well aware that mr wu pins alot of hope on all of us cos if any of us win, it’s gonna be the first time nus high won at this event. but jun han heard that the judges were super duperly impressed with hwachong’s =\ hahah but either way, we tried our very best & i must say, the process of doing so was extremely enjoyable, right from brainstorming of ideas to sitting down and staying back after school to do up to meet deadlines and all. thanks jibee for being so encouraging through it all!(:

today’s celeb at the hall obviously wasn’t as spectacular as that of the one last year held at the jurong bird park, but it was still pretty great! the performance items were generally pretty cool(:

ms kong was so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! she won the ms fun-loving award! and i realized that alot of prize recipients are mentors of yr 3 classes oO. hope she’ll like our class present to her(: this year, there wasn’t any time allocated for the students to pass the presents to their teachers so after the performance, all of us rushed to outside the staffroom and passed it to them! we were like some crazed fans chanting the names of our teachers!!(:

oh i passed mr ang the present just as he was about to start scolding those people who came late>< but seems like he liked it! he sent a message via our espace::

whoo! for those who didn’t know what jibee and i picked up for him, we went to this shop in vivo city which sold alot of educational + cute + prank-ish stuff! hoho we spent more than half an hour at this shop i think!! we bought mr ku’s and mr ang’s present there. but anyhow, we were thinking since mr ang is our thermod teacher, we decided to get him this pencil which could change colour upon rubbing! and another random pen which looks like a syringe with blood, cos it looked so fascinating! okay, our class presents ain’t as expensive as some classes, but heyyy, there’s alot of heart factor involved kay!

hahah it’s really cool to see teachers liking the presents we bought for them (okay fine, not all said so, but we believe they will) ESPECIALLY THE COOKIES CAN. it’s uber nice(: from candy empire wor.

hahah then ms chua told me she liked the card i wrote to her(: i actually wrote like 18 general gift tags which were pretty much the same words like “happy teacher’s day”, “may you enjoy your special day”, “hope your special day will be filled with love and joy”, “hope you’ll like our little gift to you” and of course “♥ 305″ but for a few teachers like ms chua, mr yee, mr lida, and mr lim cs, i wrote special cards (which i specially woke up an hour earlier to pour my soul out into their cards okay joking.

i feel so sad that mr wujiong & mr ho’s cards were not entirely in chinese cos my chinese is simply “tooooo wonderful” and really, kudos to mr wu for staying back today on his special day to go through our powerpoint slides with us in prep for tmr. AHHH hope we can make it((: i just need to be more confident + less stammery + stop reading words awkwardly like some person who only learn chinese for 3 yrs + more expressive. okay i shall dedicate today for learning my script + prepping some qns + packing my files for the new term + making a dent on my holiday hwk!

anw, jibee & i had a hell of a time buying the teacher’s day presents tday!! yeah yeah, it’s a lil too last minute, but heyyy, it’s the thought that counts kay! i shall not blog bout the details and presents as of yet, till after the teachers receive them all(: hoho, i hope they like it will be doing up the tags & cards later after my eng summary + chinese ppt><

ohoh, then there was my chem lab report which i did last night when i woke up arnd 3+am to do that, and i actually wrote “THIS EXPERIMENT CAN BE CONDUCTED IN LOS ANGELES (LA) OR ANYWHERE ELSE” as one of my improvement-.- and i rmbed i happily told myself, wow what a great improvement! then finally after like 10 minutes, i finally woke up and tore up that page in disgust and rewrote the whole thing XD so dumb of me._.

hahah THEN WUJIONG GAVE US SOME GOOD NEWS WHOO =D let’s hope we’ll have our both feets in, jibee^^ i’m nervous for this sat._.

LOL classic =\ must be due to masteringphysics last night-.- anws kudos to aaron for doing it with me on saturday & doing it before you needed to hahah, jibee + seo youn + zhixin for teaching me andre, timo, cheryl for helping out too lol, in the end i thought i had not enough time i went to forgo one question and clicked “show answer”. incidentally, three others did the same thing for the same qn LOL =D then tday ms ng told us that she would extend mp till 7th Sept! like wth? NUUU, i wasted my time chionging for it ytd-.- when i could be out celebrating/watching tv-.-

got back some results tday. weren’t too bad, but i swear physics is gonna be an epic fail =\ sigh

hahah now onto chem + physics lab… zzz. hahah but on the brigher note, TESTS ARE ALL OVER yipee!! time to go out + tt + cj/sakae =D + holidays + movies!!

i’m not sure if that’s the best video available cos it was the first one i open(: i was searching for a quote online “Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are: it might have been” when i stumbled upon this lyrics… and i thought it was pretty poignant-sounding… the “story” behind the song in that youtube link seems a lil too idealistic or fairytale-ish, in my opinion though._.

i don’t know, but i guess this song sort of struck a chord in me. sometimes i wonder what would happen of us if i pushed a lil harder last time, i wonder what would become of us if some stuff didn’t happen, if i had a lil more guts or courage…

but at the end of the day, we all know that if we don’t try enough, the only thing we can do in time is to look back and regret about what has been or rather what has not been done. and at the end of the day, what’s left will not be bitter memories; just sweet ones left to haunt you, which is both good and bad, i suppose.
